Have We Ever Wondered Why It Is That Our Systems Of “Law & Order” Never Really Seem To Work?

If we look closely we can see that our desires cause us to overstep the boundaries of law all the time. Perhaps it might be a good idea to then understand the true nature of desire?

We make laws to try to “govern” and “control” ourselves, but when those laws get in the way of what we want then they begin conflicting, and contradicting with our desires. We then break, ignore, change, or remove the laws thus nullifying their originally intended effects. Or we just keep adding more laws and compounding and propagating the same problem ad infinitum. The expression “laws where made to be broken” comes immediately to mind here.

So we in effect continue to create boundaries for ourselves to control our own behavior, which is the result of our own thought, with “laws” which are themselves a product of our own thought. So we have thought attempting to control thought. The only problem with this is that it doesn’t work.

These conflicting and contradictory desires are built into our system. That is we’ve designed our system, our way of life, so as to automatically generate this conflict. The reason these conflicting and contradictory desires are built into our system, is because we create our own system with which to live by, and these conflicting and contradictory desires comes from us, from our consciousness. Therefore this “outer” system is really just a mirror reflection of the “inner” system of contradicting and conflicting laws which governs each and every one of us in the form of the unconscious use of thought.

Let’s look at an example:

The system of “money” is created for the world to “run” on. That is governments legislate and control its use by its citizens. They tell the citizens “you are guaranteed to need this money to survive, for security, but you’re not guaranteed to get it”. They lay out laws on how to get it and how not to get it. So governments desire that this creation called “money” be used, but again, only in a certain “legal” way.

However, because money is what it is, it generates immense desire in people which in tern causes them to engage in all manner of dishonest, corrupt, wasteful, brutal, violent, and horrific, acts against others and the planet as a whole in order to obtain it. During which process, all manner and manifestations of laws continue to be broken.

But what do we do in response to this? We double-down, and continue the same thing. We add more laws, more punishment, more prisons but it just keeps going on and on with no end in sight. We then become numb to it, and it becomes normalized and then we go on to say “this is just our way of life” without giving any of it a second thought. This ensures that this irrational, and insane way of life will indeed persist on into the future ensuring that things do indeed always remain the same and never change.

Is any of this true?

Please look to see if you can see what is being point to here for yourself. Observe like a scientist, impartially. If you’re partial to something other than what it is you’re observing while you’re observing, then you’re probably not really observing, and if you’re not observing then you have no chance of “seeing” and then really changing.
