How Would You Describe Mankind To An Alien?
If you should ever happen to fortunately, or unfortunately come in contact with a visitor from another planet who knew absolutely nothing about this planet or any of its inhabitants, what would you tell them about it all?
Say they were just an ordinary alien that looked like us and was just passing through on their tour of the galaxy. They needed a place to stay for a while and they were considering staying here on Earth but wanted to know what life was like here and if they should stay or not. What would you tell them?
What would you tell them life was like here on Earth? Not just for you personally, but as a whole? How would you describe Mankind’s life and activities on this earth as a whole to them? Consider yourself an emissary, or an ambassador for the entire human species, what would you tell them they needed to do to survive here?
How would you describe any of the multitude of different systems we presently live under?
Is it pleasant to live here, hostile, both?? Is there a great deal of conflict on this planet?
Would you mention how violent, brutal, and greedy we are?
What’s the environment like? Is it polluted? Do they need to take care to not drink unfiltered water, and perhaps carry a face mask for particularly polluted air quality days?
What about money?
What do you tell them about money?
Do you tell them they have to go get a job to earn it? Do you mention to them that your guaranteed to need money to survive, but your not guaranteed to get it?
Do you mention that they’ll also be a target for near constant predation because they have to be in possession of money in order to survive?
What do you say to them?
Do you tell them that you know it’s stressful and difficult, but to just keep their head down and “grind on through” while they’re here?
Do you think they’ll want to hang around for long in light of the way life is at present on this planet?
