The High Price Of Anger
Anger appears to have the effect of “blinding us”.
When we’re angry over something, it’s generally because something is happening that we don’t want to happen, or the inverse that something is not happening that we want to happen.
It’s because we‘re desiring something other than what is.
We’re desiring away from what is.
It amounts to a refusal to accept what’s happening in the present moment. This refusal manifests as a lack of attention, or attentiveness which then more than likely goes on to manifest as some type of accident, or act of aggression involving personal harm.
When this happens, there is suffering.
The suffering comes as a result of this lack of care, or neglect.
The refusal to acknowledge and honor the goings on of life perpetually unfolding around us, ultimately appears capable of being nothing short of totally and utterly destructive.
We will never know lasting peace as long as we look to creations of thought for security.
Is any of this true?
Please examine this for yourself without any motive, for if you have a motive it will dictate the answer.
