We Are Literally Mentally Masturbating While The World Succumbs To Its Doom

To continue to watch the spectacle is becoming sickening.

Please try to follow this with me so we can both see it together.

It seems the media just can’t get enough of “President” Donald Trump.

Our competitive, greedy, warped, twisted, sadistic, brutal, violent, culture and society has bread Donald Trump. He is a product of us. He is us, and we are him.

This culture and society created his father, and it created his grandfather, and on and on back up the generational tree. The father’s then go on to in tern influence, control, and shape society, and the cycle just goes around. It is one movement out and in, out and in. It may be seen as a type of behavior pattern persisting through time with slight modifications but never fundamentally truly changing.

And then we as a culture and society have also created the whole idea or notion of the role of a “President.” This role, like all other roles — as is the nature of roles — is based on ideas or “ideals” of what a human occupying that role should be like. That is what a person occupying that role should act like. What they should say, and what they should do, etc.. There is a whole set of “do’s” and “don’ts” associated with any role. As the “ideal” the role represents what we “aspire” to, or in other words, the role is the “embodiment of the activity of psychological becoming” and the breeding ground for both internal and external conflict.

And so then what do we do?

The society and culture that is responsible for creating humans like Donald Trump, and also responsible for creating the role of “Presidency” then puts the two together and plays with them like a child would play with two dolls.

Well, we take the human(that is Donald Trump) occupying the role and compare and measure them up against the ideals of the role, and from here we are forever forming judgements and opinions which in tern go on to color our perception of the human occupying the role so that we only see them through the lens of the “rules of the role.”

We have a media machine that just gobbles up this “shock-jock” of a president. Trump seems to know he says “shocking”, “jarring”, “scary”, “absurd”, and down-right “crazy sh*t”, and he seems to know he gets an awful lot of attention from the media when he does. To him, negative publicity appears to be better than none at all.

The “fuel” of the media’s “fire” are precisely “the president’s antics.” It’s the near perpetual state of shock and astonishment over Trump’s behavior in that “President’s just don’t do, or aren’t supposed to do those sorts of things!” The media(again…, which is also us) are constantly measuring Trump against the role of a president, against the ideals of what a President “should” and “shouldn’t” do. And this creates a very twisted, and grotesque type of entertainment. The entertainment of “fear” and “shock.” It’s “shock value” and it probably equals great ratings.

And then of course, all the comparisons to presidents passed is good for even more shock value, as they tally and total up all horrendous “firsts” that “this president” has accumulated. This adds even more “shock” value…, so that it’s now “shock and awe” value.

So we have a culture and society who’s collective mental sickness has bread a human who lives in deranged, sick, twisted thought(as many, many, many of humans do) who has somehow ascended to the “highest office in the land” which is also a creation of our thought. We then take this deranged human who is basically the antithesis of the role of president, and we put them in the role of president. And we then tirelessly play with it by continuing to act “surprised”, “shocked”, and “appalled” as a result of our continual comparison of “what is” (Donald Trump as president) to what should be(the ideals of the role of president). It seems you can’t turn the tv on now-a-days without hearing some new story about how “the President” did so-and-so, or said such-and-such inciting controversy and conflict in some way. “I mean President’s just don’t do those types of things” (…but Donald Trump sure does!)

We are actually repeating this behavior constantly with everything both internally, and externally. Internally we have ideals we are constantly trying to live up to, and externally we create all manner and manifestations of different roles that we then expect ourselves to also “fit in” or “live up to”, like, for instance, the role of police officer.

All of this the work of the twisted and diseased thought of humanity playing with itself in these two different forms while our planet is literally growing more polluted and toxic by the day. It is heating, melting, and burning up all around us as a result of our own doing, as a result of our very way of life, but instead of ceasing this insanity we keep going and engaging in the same toxic and deadly behavior.

Instead of looking to observe the root cause of all our problems so that we may truly transform and live in the opposite way we live now on this planet, we continue on blinded by the unawareness of the nature of the thought process itself. And make no mistake, it is a potentially highly deadly form of blindness.

And so we remain blindfolded and asleep obsessed with rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic while totally unaware of its silent slippage into a watery grave.
